An Arabic-language social radio station with an Islamic vision, Noor Dubai was launched on May 9 2006 under the slogan ‘Social and Islamic Vision’.
A different style of radio to other UAE stations, Noor Dubai is primarily dedicated to social matters concerning the local Arab population under the premise that people need a radio channel that listens to them and discusses the details of their lives, as much as they need entertaining channels.
No other station in the UAE commits itself to the everyday issues facing the average citizen of the UAE, from the provision of health care to transport problems. With this brief in mind, Noor Dubai offers sport, business, cultural, educational, health and family shows, all underpinned by a solid Islamic framework.
