Mahmoud is an Emirati radio pioneer who has played a key role at ARN since it was established in 2001. Mahmoud has been exposed to all aspects of the radio business including programming, production, marketing, managing music, as well as presenting radio shows himself. Now a true radio visionary, Mahmoud's main goal is to further ARN's reach by expanding its network to fully cater to the UAE's multicultural community.
With extensive senior management experience in the Australian radio and entertainment industry, Steve Smith has led ARN operations since 2008. His primary objective is to establish growth plans and deliver multi-platform solutions across terrestrial FM radio plus online and mobile services. Steve's strong business acumen and keen understanding of the demands of a diverse set of target audiences and markets make him the ideal person to help ARN set the pace for radio both regionally and internationally.
Mathew Johnson leads the marketing division of ARN, promoting the network of stations to both a consumer and corporate audience, developing the brand, promotions and PR strategy for ARN. Prior to leading the marketing division, Mathew launched and managed the first talk radio station in the Middle East, Dubai Eye 103.8, establishing the station as the leading provider of news and information in the UAE. Since joining ARN in 2003, Mathew has held positions in Free 96.7 and Dubai 92 and previously worked in commercial radio in the United Kingdom.
